A building site that transforms a place deserves to be seen.

I film construction follow-ups with timelapse, drone and ground footage, for municipalities, foundations and project owners in the canton of Vaud.

Talk about my project
Aerial view of the Cœur du Village construction site in Lavigny, with its crane and Lake Geneva in the background.

A building site is hard to see from the outside.

For months, people see fences, a crane, trucks. They hear the noise and walk around the works. What they do not see is the project taking shape.

Showing progress changes how people look at it. Neighbours, the village, future users no longer just put up with the disruption: they follow the project, and feel part of the change.

What the images are for.

During the works

Keep the municipality, residents and partners informed. Show that things are moving, on your website, your social media or in meetings.

At the inauguration

A film that tells the whole journey in a few minutes.

Afterwards

A visual record of the project, for the institution, the teams and the references of the architect or the contractor.

The same place, during and after.

The finished building

The timelapse shows the progress.

A fixed camera, installed by Polygraphic, records the progress throughout the construction.

The drone shows the scale.

The layout, the volumes, the relationship with the site and the landscape.

The ground brings back the people.

The teams, the materials, the gestures and the details that make the site concrete.

Two construction sites followed over about two years.

Before starting a follow-up.

When should I contact you?

As early as possible. Ideally before the works begin, to keep images of the place as it was. But a follow-up can also start during construction.

How does the timelapse work?

The camera is installed by Polygraphic, my timelapse partner. It records the progress of the site throughout the follow-up.

How often do you come to the site?

We agree on it together: regular visits planned in advance, or only at key stages. Each trip is charged as a flat fee.

Can we get images during construction?

Yes. Photos and videos can be delivered along the way, and intermediate films made on request. The final film tells the whole project.

Can the drone fly anywhere?

Each flight depends on the location, the weather, the airspace and the people present. Permits are checked before filming, and sometimes requested in advance.

When will I receive the final film?

About 2 weeks after the last day of filming. The timing depends on how complex the final video is and how much footage there is to assemble, but it gives you an idea. My priority: a video designed for your needs, in line with the agreed budget.

How much does a follow-up cost?

The budget depends on the length of the construction, the frequency of visits, the drone and the films you want. I can send you a price list for information. Each assignment then gets a quotation that you approve.

Let’s talk about your construction site.

The start date, the expected duration and the location are enough to get started.
