A show deserves to live on after the last performance.

I film shows and concerts with several cameras for companies, ensembles and artists in the canton of Vaud: full film, teaser and short formats.

Talk about my show
A singer on stage, in the spotlight, during a concert filmed by Be Motion.

A performance only lasts one evening.

Months of creation and rehearsals, for a few evenings in front of an audience. Afterwards, often all that remains are memories and a few phone videos.

Yet it is after the stage that images are needed: to convince a programmer, announce the next dates, thank partners, or keep a record worthy of what happened.

What the images are for.

The full film

A faithful record of the whole piece, to share with the company, partners and programmers.

The teaser

A short format that captures the energy of the show, to make people want to come, or to make it known afterwards.

Short formats

Vertical excerpts designed for phones: spark interest quickly, without asking people to watch long content.

Several cameras, so nothing is left to chance.

Two cameras set up in the seating, facing the lit stage.
Cameras in place, facing the stage
Cameras placed behind the audience, during a performance in a full hall.
During the performance, behind the audience

A fixed wide shot.

It keeps the whole stage in view and secures the edit of the full film.

A tracking camera.

Operated close to the looks, the gestures and the rhythm of the stage.

The dress rehearsal, if needed.

Filmed with a steadicam, it brings close-ups and movement, without disturbing the audience on the night.

Before filming a show.

Will the cameras disturb the audience?

The setup is designed to stay discreet: well-placed fixed cameras and a single tracking camera. The closest shots can be filmed during the dress rehearsal.

Should the dress rehearsal be filmed?

It is optional. It allows closer, smoother shots, without taking risks on the night of the performance. We decide together, depending on the show and the budget.

What needs to be prepared?

The running order of the show and its key moments. We go through them together before filming, so that every camera serves the final edit.

What will I receive?

Depending on your needs: the full film, a teaser, short excerpts in 16:9 and 9:16. The edits are defined with you, within a range set by your budget.

When will I receive the video?

About 2 weeks for the film of a full show. The timing depends on how complex the final video is and how much footage there is to assemble, but it gives you an idea. My priority: a video designed for your needs, in line with the agreed budget.

How much does filming cost?

Multi-camera filming designed for a tight budget starts from about CHF 900.–, as for Délit de Cuivre. Edits (teaser, short formats) are added depending on your needs. Each assignment gets a quotation that you approve.

Let’s talk about your show.

The title, the venue and the dates are enough to get started.
